Conventional Systems.

Conventional systems are designed for small to medium sized buildings and will conform up to L2 requirements. With technology in fire alarms updating, conventional systems are becoming "smarter" with patents lifted from a leading brand the "Twin-flex" systems are becoming readily available. Conventional systems are not as accurate in indicating where the fire started but for small/medium sized buildings they are cheap to install and above all reliable.

Addressable & Analogue Systems

Addressable systems are designed for medium to large scale buildings or buildings which require a system with lots of monitoring devices and input/output modules. Analogue addressable systems are known as "intelligent" fire alarm systems. There are several different types which are determined by the type of protocol used, e.g. a Ziton ZP3 panel is perfect for hospitals or large scale buildings in which each device can be tested & maintained efficiently throughout the building. Essentially analogue systems are far more complex and incorporate far more facilities than a conventional system. The primary purpose of an addressable or analogue system is to help prevent the occurrence of false alarms.

Wireless Systems

Wireless fire alarm systems are an effective alternative to traditional wired fire alarm systems for all applications. They utilise secure license free radio communications to interconnect the sensors and devices (smoke detectors, call points etc) with the controllers. It is a simple concept which provides many unique benefits and is a full analogue addressable fire detection system without the need for cable.

As a business we strive to get the job done exactly right. All our work conforms to the current regulations including BS7671:2018 Wiring Regulations, BS5839:2013 Fire Regulations & any other regulations included in the design work criteria. All our electricians are fully approved & qualified to 18th edition BS7671. We are also AXA PL insured to £11m for those bigger projects.
